"Aiming
at the enhancement of human health and build-up
of a disease-free world by developing excellent
drugs," the Bukwang R&D Center was established
in 1993.
The Bukwang R&D Center was relocated to Gasan-Dong,
Seoul in August, 2005. The world-class R&D infrastructure
available now in the Bukwang R&D Center has
provided a momentum to expand physical space for
R&D activities, beef up investment in R&D
programs and enhance technical knowledge and a human
network of researchers. The Bukwang R&D Center
will grow to become the hub of pharmaceutical research
programs in Korea and elsewhere in the future.
Based on our global research network system &
accumulated new drug research technology, Bukwang
is focusing on developing new world-wide drugs for
resistant diseases such as hepatitis B virus (HBV),
cancer, dementia, and diabetes.
To live long in a healthy condition is the dream
of all living people. To achieve this dream, our
R&D Center will work harder to develop new medicines
in the 21st century.
